Open settings

1. Open the Haidy window (right-click on the taskbar icon →Open window)

2. Click above on the tabSettings
   

Available Settings

Shortcut

By default is theF1 buttonSet to dictate. You can set any other key or keyboard shortcut:

1. Click in the input field

2. Press the desired key or keyboard shortcut (e.g. B. F2 or Ctrl+Shift+D)

3. The new occupancy will be applied immediately

Maximum recording time

Specifies how long a single recording can take. The default value is 120 minutes. Longer recordings are terminated automatically.

Start automatically

If enabled, Haidy Desktop starts automatically as soon as you log in to your computer. So the app is always ready without you having to think about it manually.

View

• Position:Where the small recording window appears on the screen. Default: bottom right. You can choose between all four corners.

• Visibility:Turns the recording window on or off. Even if it is hidden, dictating continues to work normally.

Language

Select the language in which you dictate. Speech recognition is optimized for this language.

Microphone

From the list, select the microphone to use for recording @gmail, for example, the built-in microphone or an external headset.

Important:
If you change settings and then switch to another tab without saving, you will be asked if you want to discard the changes.
